DreamMapper App Reviews

Update messed it all up

The "big" update that shut things down over the weekend has continued. Kind of worthless app now.

Device not compatible

The device has settings for the app and suggests I download it, but the app has other plans... indicates my device is not supported ( confirmed SN multiple times)

App wont work

What happened?! This app worked fine until this morning! I rely on this data. Will it be fixed soon?

Too Many Intermittent Problems

My experience coincides with those that have commented on inconsistent connections and updating. There are also gaps in the information recorded. Prior to the mid-January update, each of those issues would spontaneously be remedied. But that is no longer the case. It is very frustrating.

Not Functional After Update

Thought it was fixed but having issues again. Tried calling tech support and was on hold for over 30 minutes. Called back and left message for a call back but have not received one after 5 days. Email comes back as sending error.

Not dependable

Enjoy taking a quick look at the data each morning. However the Bluetooth connection fails every two or three days and can be very stubborn to recover. I will probably quit using it because of this.

Does not transfer new data

It does not transfer new data, even after refreshing and resetting my Bluetooth connection. The data transfer had no problem, since I updated it. The data on the machine is different to the data the app shows and it always says no new data!!! Killed my motivation!!!!

Horrible update

Couldnt connect for 3 days while updating. Doesnt work at all now. Connects, but has no data. Hope my provider can still access data. Kind of worked before the update. Doesnt sound like its working for anyone else.

Now very bad!

I have used the app for several months, it was always a challenge as it would not always load data without going in and out of the app. Now it does not load any data but says "your latest data is already loaded", not!! Useless app at this time.

Had a DreamMapper update for IOS & now cannot see my data or communicate with my machine. When I try to re-key the serial number, the app shuts down. Now what? Delete & re-install & hope that works?

This is without a doubt the most poorly functioning, feature-short, and worst-designed app I've ever used, and I've used dozens. It's bad enough to make you regret spending hundreds of dollars on the product it's supposed to work with. Absolute garbage. I'm normally a generous reviewer, but this is beyond my limit. And it's a health issue, for crying out loud! Philips really can't do better than this?

Good start

This app has real potential but lacks the ability to customise it. I would like to be able to display a range of dates that I choose to review the sleep data. It also requires you to have a Bluetooth dongle attached to the CPAP machine or it needs to connect to a site that you have uploaded your SD card to. This is beyond the scope of this review but be aware that the program to upload the data is windows based only. No Mac version is available.

Great motivation

I love this app. I downloaded it to my iPhone and paired it to the Bluetooth module quite easily. I now view my usage and efficacy each morning in seconds and have learned more about my therapy.

I Assumed It Would Do More

I assumed that the app would interpret a range of information from monitoring a CPAP and could generate some detailed reports. Once you strip away all the fluff, this app and its $80 Bluetooth add-on, only tracks usage. It tells you how long you slept with the CPAP on. Woo Hoo, even at my age I can track that! Thats all it does. It has a little potential to assist you with the masks and hoses and peripherals but the database is extremely limited. Like a few masks and items in each category. A couple of students in a sleep clinic could build a database in next to no time. If anyone has looked at the cost of a quality CPAP, the profits are incredible. Philips should spend some money and make this a real tool for the user. It could be done with some forethought and money. One can only hope.

Rip off

I spent 80$ on the Bluetooth attachment just to find out how long the machine is turned on each night. This app doesnt do anything else. Even the help videos all say the same thing....

Finding a new product

I purchased a bluetooth accessory just because Philips other download software is not compatible with Apple. However, the app stops communicating with the CPAP about 25% through the sync. Im now looking for an entirely different set up so I can ditch the unfriendly Respironics.

Does not sync

$80 and it wont show the data after sync ... Big rip off ... Returning for a unit from res med or another manufacturer!!! Wish there was a negative star rating option!

Terrible software

The Bluetooth device refuses to work with the software. Best download I ever had was 50% before it crashed. No online support for reading SD cards on a Mac is a disgrace. At least my Bluetooth adaptor didnt cost me anything since my healthcare provider gave it to me for free. Philips should be ashamed of this software.

cannot use with a Mac

Don’t you think you should put that in big letters on the app store description??? I downloaded the app on my iPhone and it sent me to the set-up page. No mention there. The only place is very small print at the bottom of the homepage. AND don’t you think Mac people use your equipment? Get with it, Philips!

Its not worth it

If you happen to have an SD card reader in your laptop or desktop, then its your best choice because paying $80 for a Bluetooth device that seems to fail (based on other reviews) and for the very little information you get back, its simply not with it. Remember, you dont need this app (that asks you to know your location and send you notifications; what for?!), with an SD card reader and a browser, thats all you need. Hope it helps
